The light of plants

In this second Advent week dedicated to the kingdom of plants, we could not fail to talk about our beloved school garden. A space that not only connects us with nature, but also sows essential values in our little seeds.
The garden teaches us to take care, to wait, to work together and to value the food that the earth gives us.

Here the children grow more than just plants:

• Connection with nature: They learn where food comes from and how to care for it.
• Patience and responsibility: Taking care of a plant requires attention and time.
• Teamwork: Each shared task strengthens the sense of community.
• Healthy habits: Growing also increases their interest in healthy eating.

This week, as we light our second Advent candle, we give thanks for the light and life that the plant kingdom gives us, and we celebrate its importance in childhood and at school.
