Forest school

After almost a month of non-stop rain...
today we finally went back to forest school. 
The ground was damp, the air was clean, and the forest was more alive than ever.
We're back to balancing on logs, mixing with flowers and plants, looking at bugs and birds, playing in the mud, and enjoying that calm that only comes when we're surrounded by nature.
Enjoying and experiencing the environment is also part of the process.
And coming back... feels like this: natural, simple, and necessary.
