Imbolc

It is a time of transition.
Even though winter is still very much present (and very wet), the earth is beginning to stir, to wake up.
The first shoots are appearing, the light is changing, and we can see small signs that the cycle is moving forward.
At La Semilla, we celebrated Imbolc as a moment of gratitude and attention to these first signs of awakening. Like a bear coming out of its den to see how things are going.

The girls and boys observed nature and performed a small symbolic ritual to accompany the awakening of the earth.
They created sticks to wake up the earth, to promote growth, strength, and abundance, understanding this gesture as a way of connecting with natural rhythms.
Imbolc is not spring.
It is the beginning of its preparation.
